  1. Gotta agree that cinema needs to learn to re-embrace the older ways of doing things. It's worked wonders for the gaming scene the past couple years if you ask me. Some of the best games I have ever played, saying this as a fellow 90s kid, are indie titles deliberately emulating older gaming tech/styles. A stand out being Nightmare Reaper. You like boomer shooter stuff? Check it out, damn fine game that transcends the boomer shooter genre given, well. EG I got a double barrel with random projectile modifier, that projectile was cannon ball so I fire 12 cannonballs per barrel. Damn things can tank a GTX 1080 when everything in front of me gibs. Just check it out. It's good.
