Bren Gun Mk2, Lee Enfield mk 4 (near mint no less) and a rather banged up Mosin Nagant 1937. People can deny it all thye want but guns got that cool factor, Hollywood relies on it.

  11. Regarding murder drones. Hands down best one I saw was of a Ukrianian drone that was spotting for artillery against a Russian position got curbstomped in a way that even Ug the caveman would understand. The Russians flew their own drone, with a rock as payload, manoeuvred it above the Ukrainian drone by flying up on it’s blindside and the Russian drone then dropped it’s rock on the Ukrainian drone, wiping out one of it’s rotas and down it went. Second best I saw was a Russian drone operator that spotted a vent pipe to a bunker but there was no cowl on the pipe. So said operator flew the drone down to the pipe and gently manoeuvred the drone in such a way that it’s F1 ‘Limenka’ offensive hand grenade payload entered the pipe before it was released and away the drone went. Given it was an F1 grenade anyone in that bunker was F’d. Ain’t it crazy how much high fidelity footage of this conflict you can watch in the comfort of your chair after work?

I nearly nabbed an equally good condition Mk1 ie ww1 era but alas, that passed me by. All deacks however :( Would love to win the lottery, move to somewhere cold that allows guns and shoot all them and more for real as opposed to some pigeon shooting with a mate sometimes. Alas, as is. The wage cage beckons for eternity unless some stonks come good at this point in my life. A man can dream of firing real .308 through even a modern replica Bren :) That gun still baffles me even if I love it. Like, who makes a heavy AF 20 round top loading banana clip LMG with offset sights that can reach like a sniper platfolrm despite being designed as an infantry mobile fire rate suppression weapon in flanking maneuvers? And even I am like WTF happened with Prigozhin? From celebrity chef to head of a PMC. From capturing Bakhmut to marching on Moscow. Psyop to root out compromised RF forces? PTSD? Genuine derp moment? Something to do with 6.1 billion the Pentagon couldn’t find but somehow meant Ukraine operation to turn Prigozhin and Wagner could be funded? Either way the end result is a stronger Putin as he get’s to consolidate his power base off the back of the bizarre mutiny. Anyway. It was a mental weekend for Russians and there was a helluva party atmosphere in Rostok when Wagner rolled out peacefully. Wish I had been there, reckon it was a big city wide party.

As well as bizarre via the sub sonic aspect as well as it having a combat and sniper variant that amounts to clip size, it's scarcity even within Russia and the fact it can crack Monolith skulls like no other. As is they are a solid investment (antique guns rarely depreciate in value) and an excellent conversation piece. The Bren Gun is heavy enough for light workouts as well so not entirely useless lol.

A really rather kick ass indy title released back in 2016 and it’s main gimmick was an active reload mechanic that made Gears of War wish it put more effort in. Also the fact it’s gunplay is seriously above average for an isometric top down shooter as well as the sheer insanity god runs that good RNG can grant you. Do you want a machine of one shot death or do you want to be a walking MG42 with sidearms? Or how about a sneaky boi? Or a demolition expert? Synthetik has you covered and more.

Russia is doing a better job than we ever did in Iraq and all those other places we had no interest being in. For starters the civvie death rate is wayyy lower and, frankly, Russia has more reason to be doing what she be doing than we ever did while world building in the middle east.

  48. I've always being meh on Star Wars but man do I feel bad for the fans with what Disney has done with it. It's like the entertainment industry has forgotten how to do practical effects. At least in the older films they jazzed up the base design so it covered the real world gun base. Plus why in a galaxy far far away are they using propellant based small arms? Surely that requires an industrial base that would have being rendered obselete for many centuries if not millenia by power cell fueled weapons tech? It makes sense in our world that the resistance fighters would have ak type weapons but this, again, is meant to be happening in a galaxy far away with vastly advanced technology. It's just not immersive.
