  1. Women are the targets of online abuse because EVERYONE is a target online. It’s the internet!. The fact that you lack a Y chromosome doesn’t change that reality. Also, no doubt the BBC are happy to skip over the studies that show that a large portion of abuse women suffer from online comes from OTHER WOMEN, and not men. Mums the word on that inconvenient fact though because they have a victim narrative to build.
