The government will "encourage" you to get a test? Yes, and if you refuse then what? the man with the cuffs come out? If you downloaded this government piece of spyware then you are idiot, plain and simple
1
The sad thing is, judging by the polls in the crucial swing states, the American people are going to elect this woman president in November
1
The guy has more money than Belgium. I dont think he gives a shit what anyone thinks of him
1
Australia is little better than Nazi Germany now Fear and the desire of its people for government to keep them safe from imagined threats has driven the people to give up their liberties, readily accept dictatorial government control and allow themselves to be manipulated into living in fear of and attacking their fellow citizens.
1
It’s not brave to risk arrest when there was NEVER a risk in the first place The fact that so many people are praising the woman when she is immune from the consequences of her what she says, unlike the normal people of Scotland, shows just how weak conservative heroes have become.
1
Same applies for my state of WA The Premier blatantly violates the constitution, segregates people within the state and locks the WA border entirely and the IDIOTS here praise the man to the hilt for his actions.. It’s absolutely unbelievable. Germany went from democratic nation to fascist state under nazi control in about 6 months and its not hard to see how it could happen
1
I live in WA and it comes as no surprise to me that we are now jailing people over this nonsense. The voters of this state overwhelmingly support the petty little tyrant McGowan because he "kept us safe", and they did so with no consideration of what rights and liberties they threw away in the process.
1
Anyone involved in allowing or prompting from this should be arrested and prosecuted for treason Anything else and you might as well wipe your backside on the Australian legal system
1
All the government has to do is sprinkle a little unjustified fear onto the people and they run like sheep for the open arms of big daddy government. How depressingly predictable
1
..and this is the government the people of this country are relying on to keep them safe
1
Given that Victoria, and Australia generally are virtual police states I’m surprised they both with press conferences at all
1
The fact that 65% of Australians support vaccine passports is TRULY disturbing It's like the idiots of this country are just happy to walk into tyranny with a smile on their face
1
Trump wont win
1
Any police officer who knowingly obeys orders and commits an unconstitutional or repressive act is just as guilty as those who give that order We determined 70 years ago that “I was just following orders” is not a valid excuse for that kind of behaviour
1
“I don’t wanna back our lockdown measures, they have worked” Citation needed
1
Hes as full of crap as his labor counterparts.
1
It's funny watching a 5 minute video from a supposedly conservative host bashing the woke elite and railing against the inclusion of 'trans females' in women's sport, but who then COMPLETELY undermines that rant and legitimises their position by calling these men by female pronouns and using their made up female names. Its this kind of creeping acceptance that led us to the absurd position we find ourselves in now
1
Prostate cancer causes a similar number of deaths of men as breast cancer does in women but receives only a tiny fraction of the funding. It also doesn’t get stories on the news with demands from the mob for the government to do more. It’s funny, it’s almost as if society doesn’t put the same value on male life as it does female.
1
If you believe that the person or people TRULY responsible for this debacle will actually be punished then you are horribly naive
1
A half baked network gives a half baked service Shocking
1
“We know the lockdown is the key to our freedom” No dear, there is no “key to freedom” I was born free, and it’s tyrannical governments that take it away from the people not a goddamn virus
1
A fish rots from the head Daniel Andrews is the one that should go
1
Hardly a surprise really
1
Canada elected this man knowing what he was like. That old saying that people get the government they deserve is very true in this case
1
According to the governments own statistics some 70% of homicide victims are male. Where is the national outrage for their plight? I guess deaths only matter when the victim is a female
1
If you believe that either the federal or state governments are going to give back the rights they have stripped from the people during this pandemic then you are kidding yourself. This little pencil neck is worried about nothing else other than appeasing the Australian population before the next election.
1
This is the same PM that thinks the problem with Ireland is that it has too many white people in it The man doesn’t value human life clearly
1
The worst part is that the people in these states are WILLINGLY voting these tyrants back into office After the last 12 months no Australian should ever again need to ask why the people of Germany voted for Hitler in the 1930s Fear, ignorance and an illogical desire for safety over liberty is just as strong a motivation for the masses then as it is now
1
This guys is comically incompetent I sincerely hope the people of Victoria vote this muppet out at the next election
1
PM Morrison is a joke, an incompetent joke The man is great at handing out huge wads of money that this countries grandchildren will have to pay back but as for plans to get us out of the mess he put us in he seems strangely silent
1
Yeah yeah Let's keep throwing good money after bad for useless lockdowns that do nothing but cripple businesses, raise unemployment, seriously impact peoples mental health and put more power in the hands of the wannabe dictators that run this country.
1
I'd like to see Trump win but I've got a sinking feeling he won't Let's hope I'm wrong
1
They claim its not mandatory Which if I recall is what the government said about the vaccine and we know how that ended
1
The Australian government will cave They always do
1
I have no sympathy left for my fellow Australians They let this go for years, they voted for this and now they will reap what they sow
1
I’d like to think that this signals blowback against Australian politicians that supported these dictatorial lockdowns but sadly this is unrelated. Not to mention the fact that the Australia people are so disgustingly compliant with their new overlords that they wouldn’t do anything anyways. If you want a case study of why a famous American president said the people shouldn’t accept safety over liberty then you only need to look at this country.
1
The idea that the "liberal party", less still its tyrannical leader, actually believes in the rights and liberties it says it stands for is laughable.
1
"fair and reasonable" You've got to be kidding me Yes, and I'm sure the CCP considers their totalitarian police state fair and reasonable too
1
If she’s a spy then she’s a pretty bad one
1
It’s funny how the countries that closed their borders the quickest seem to be suffering the least with the outbreak Almost as if borders actually work This PM took far to long to act and now it’s the Australian people that will pay for it
1
As with Trudeau in Canada, if the Australian people re-elect this lying mouth breather then they deserve everything that's coming to them
1
Its only a matter of time before this group pisses off someone who isn't as concerned about law enforcement and societies rules as most of us. At that point they will find themselves facing an oncoming car at high speed or a bullet doing the same
1
Australian politicians are not held to account for their actions The system itself shields them Because of this the politicians that rule over us are little more than a technicality short of dictators
1
Rules for thee but not for me indeed
