  2. there are laws against it. It all has to be done covertly. Hush Hush. The problem is that modern parents want to be friends with their kids. The fathers and mothers that put their friendship with their children ahead of their roles as parents. Being a parent always required of the father to be the disciplinarian, a role generations of men chose because everyone understood that discipline was needed when the child had small self discipline. Parents sacrificed being friends to be effective in raising well balanced, well behaved, future adults.
