  5. why don't politicians like Kirby understand that 'not all of us are that stupid and we see avoidance and dishonesty. We see outstanding implausibility and we remember the people who try that shit on us. Kirby just shot himself in the foot. As far as the US government 'playing stupid' at the moment; it does this at the expense of an already diminishing reputation; Irish jokes have been supplanted by the new flag bearers for the cognitively impaired.
