  1. I for one would be less of an impoverished peasant under the yoke of Big Ag and its Agents. I wouldn't be taxed to provide lowest cost agricultural methods for private sector corporate enterprises. The environment would not be overrun by feral cats decimating the last endangered natural species just so farmers can spend less on rodent control. If farmers did not own us , If mining giants paid us our share ... if.

  2. rich peasant is a niche under appreciated. It's slack. it's cheap, and the returns are enough to keep a peasant rich. There is a 'zone' and it gets defined by planned/anticipated consumption. For me, I sacrifice the pool table but my dart board is top shelf.

  3. I think some sort of warning should precede an image of disgraced former PM ScoMos channeling of Tony Abbot with his coal stunt. I was studying economics and Norway and my mind was as a sponge. Then whack, flubber flubber flubber abort as my emotions over run the analytical mind. You say you are a uni lecturer :) Interesting pedagogy doubtlessly designed to create resilient students. Just plain cruel to an innocent youtube viewer though:)
