It is the product of a depoliticized society where Ivan Average agrees not to look as his masters get filthy rich, as long as he can have vodka, a holiday in Crimea and be left blissfully ignorant...no part of Ivan's deal involves him fighting for his beliefs and protecting his masters.... until very recently.   4. short memories? didn't the USA save Europe's arse once already? the way things look now, it will need to do it again. Russia is a bully, Europe is never going to be safe with those bullies. As an Australian, my feeling is one in all in,,,the free world against Tyranny. Australians have died in Europe's wars for a set of common values. Macron is offering less to Ukraine than Australia offered France in WW2. Disappointed.
