" He reached into his car after defying countless lawful orders? I don't see how you can say its justified. I hear the argument, but I don't think the cops noting being able to see your hands justifies shooting. because it wasnt just " cant see your hands = justified" its a combination of all actions taking place during the encounter... ran plates, he has a prior, its a domestic abuse/violence call, he refuses to stop, refuses to listen to orders, and continues doing things that may be considered a threat.
