Mass shootings depend on whether you are counting 3 or more or 4 or more as it changes the numbers. felons cant have guns mentally unstable cant have guns this is why we have a background check system in place

  240. luis rosado let me tell you how i know you know nothing about guns... 1. no one in general has fully automatic weapons, those are EXTREMELY regulated 2. nearly all firearms today are semi automatic 3. you cant just walk into walmart and buy an ar, you need a background check 4. ar style weapons dont even use large caliber ammunition 223 Remington as well as 5.56 NATO ammo, 5. rifle deaths account to roughly 5% of all gun related deaths 6. 60% of the rest are suicides, and at least 70% of whats left is gang related Now, you dont wait till there is a fire to buy a fire extinguisher, the same reason you buy a gun, not because you intend to need it, but in case you do need it you have it i would much rather have a gun and never need to fire it than i would not have one when i need it.
