Pre 1965 is better than anything we have now... lets do some math though 1900-1914 891,806 1915-1919 234,536 1920-1930 412,474 lets expand your "golden age" because these are the stats i saw handy. thats 1.5million over the course of 30 years, or 51,000 a year we are currently taking in 800,000 per year, and thats just legals lets stop pretending that current immigration is anything like previous eras of immigration "but muh per capita immigration" when you exponentially grow the population size, you exponentially grow the possible per capita limit of immigrants. "the foreign born population of the U.S." Is a misleading broken statistic... a foreigner who just shows up and becomes a citizen pops out a kid, that kid is not a foreign born population statistic... yet in every meaningful way, IS foreign born...

IE shop at like stores, hire like people, etc ert.. These people end up suppressing wages and increasing cost of living. invariably crime goes up, and social cohesion and societal trust plummet... how is any of this good " bug muh DGP and muh economy! numbers go up!" absolutely disgusting
