@007kingifrit "capitalism" isnt the problem using metrics that are based off of the fiat value of deb based currencies is the problem. the fiat currencies is the problem. the debt based economies is the problem. claiming " gdp is up" is meaningless if 20 dollars barely buys you a couple gallons of gasoline. world poverty is meaningless when home prices are outpacing monetary growth for the average earner

@Hunterchuck nonsense... currency isnt the issue, fiat currency is the issue,. debt based currencies are the issue...

@Hunterchuck how else do you propose a system of exchanging goods and services if there is not an easily valued medium of exchange?

@Hunterchuck "You don't think it's possible to have a resource based economy?" A currency based off of physical resources? like a gold standard? why yes, i think that would work well if the currency you use is backed up by existent finite resources "Didn't tribes even in America basically trade resources with one another without the concept of currency?" This is a dumb point, and has really no answer to what i asked. What good does it do if i need someone to do something and have nothing they want in trade? i must then take something i have, transition it into something they want to trade with and then manage to get things done? why would that make anything easier? "You don't find it odd that people have no right to live unless they have money that can afford food?" dont you find it odd that you seem to think food appears out the ether, and people DESERVE it? do you assume everyone should get food without work? "At the same time people work for more than they actually need to and who benefits from that financially? I'm pretty sure that it's not the ones spending all their time working on behalf of someone else." Im pretty sure its because the currency is no longer backed by tangible assets, and the entire financial world is now running on empty funny money... you can say " currency" is the issue, but that is not true, and severely understates the actual issues at play here
