  1.  @EvanAntes  Who was talking about stopping a pandemic? It was about flattening the curve. Flattening the curve was not about having no cases or even decreasing the total number of cases. It was about deferring cases to a later date in order to allow the government and health workers to prepare. That's what people accepted. That was reasonable. The little dictatators just kept extending their term though. It was no longer about flattening the curve which had a clear timeline and transitioned to something as hopelessly endless as The War on Terror or War on Drugs.
