  2. LAX has been renovated recently, so it actually looks pretty nice. But the airport sucks because the customs/security staff suck. I mean, I can't totally blame them since LAX gets terrorist threats and everything, but I have seen many a person walk through customs with a "WTF?!" look on their face at just how shit the staff there is. Almost every time I go through there some foreign tourist is flabbergasted that they haven't long since been fired.
