  1. Artorias is a great fight. Probably the closest thing to a duel the game has to offer... including PvP and its blasted back attack fishing. But a lot of other things work against it... it's DLC (ie, supposed to be extra hard)... and in a simultaneously interesting and awkward "warp into the past" segment so even if canon and connected to the story, somehow it seems a little disconnected with the rest of the game. The setup and arena is okay, but not great. O&S... it's like the pinnacle of the first 1/2 to 2/3s of the game. Blighttown wrecked you, but you're finally REALLY getting comfortable. Anor Londo is an epic area in scope and the end of a major quest, with strong but not overwhelming difficulty (so you can feel challenged but feel like you be gettin' good). And then they toss you two really hard bosses... at ONCE (with a SECOND phase just when you thought you were getting good)... that wreck you over and over more than anything else so far. That's epic.
