  1. A few verses after "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." Jesus says to her “Go now and leave your life of sin.” Jesus' focus is on repentance. Which still means you're turning away from something negative. Basically, you shouldn't be harsh to this person because you religious people... look at this huge list of sins I'm writing in the sand that you're guilty of (one of several interpretations). Nevertheless, the woman is still told to "go now and leave your life of sin".
