Apparently we burn down Wendy's if someone is shot outside.

Yeah, he talked about finches. And how the available resources dictated the beak of finches so they would be able to survive long enough to make new finches. So the question is. What kind of island are you living on? Are you on an island where hiding is the best option? Or are you on an island where going to work is the best option? If you're on an island where hiding is the best option, do you realize that some people have "beaks" for working and are already starting to starve at this point? It's survival of the fittest- but if you're downtown somewhere and the coronavirus is killing off thousands, then it can make sense to shut things down fairly significantly. The people with working beaks need to move out or need to be supported. If NYC wants to ever be able to support working beaks again they need to help them out in the short term before they move to other islands or die off. But most of the country is on an island where working beaks are still the best option. Well, it would be. Except you've got people throwing these birds into cages for their "protection". So then instead of the working beaks using their evolutionary advantage to displace the hiding beaks, bird catchers have come in and thrown everyone in cages for their "own" protection, feeding them $1200 sporadically.

Sounds dire. Emergency mandates shouldn't even last 60 days let alone not even start for 60 days.

Conservatives don't actually want to limit the liability protections on tech companies. They just want the platforms to be platforms. Anything censored should have widespread bipartisan support. Would Bernie and Trump BOTH denounce it as obscene? If not, leave it alone.

It's good for some people. Should have just made 100 million doses for 70+ and those with special circumstances. Then offered it to anyone else who wanted it. And then shut up and declared the pandemic over from an administrative standpoint. Now it's just greed.

@gregthornton4209 I know a white girl did it. (there are suggestions multiple people may be involved though- we'll find out eventually) Not relevant. Someone decided it was guilt by association.

Guns are restricted within schools. It just makes them a target.
2
This is what happens where there are strict gun laws. Gun laws are extremely strict at schools. You "can't" have them, by law. Shooters take advantage.

If wars are profitable, the people who profit will be incentivized to agitate for wars. If race riots are profitable, the people who profit will strive to incite racism. Anyone who is profiting from the pandemic, whether by money or power, needs to recuse themselves.

It doesn't. There's a lot of population. Just by plain population, there would need to be ~66 in the US to equal every 1 in Norway. But it does happen a lot. Because the media circus around it causes copycats. There's a high score table on wikipedia. If the media would just shut up about them, 90% wouldn't happen. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_school_shootings_in_the_United_States

Try playing some Starcraft.
1
Because it's a no gun area so you have free reign of a few minutes.
1
Oh, and lest I forget, because the media always gives it lots of coverage.

And your take on Planned Parenthood?
1
@EtherealOblivion It's quite related, just in the opposite direction. So I was curious if you had the same take or not.
1
Media, you are complicit.
1
Would you go to the range to shoot if the targets shot back?
1
It's just a policy of MAD at the personal level.
