@alexanderfretheim5720 No one can necessarily GET the land in the beachfront of the LA area. It's much easier to make skyscrapers when you're tearing down an old downtown than when the land has already been residentially subdivided.

@alexanderfretheim5720 A prospective narrow skyscraper builder on the beach in LA would still be looking at $200M just for the land, to be realistic.
