  1. I am curious, and I do not know how to research this. I am wondering about some clandestine connection to Russia in all this. I followed the seige and destruction of Mariupol, the censorship of russian media etc.. Why do the israeli government act in a similar way? Is there a connection? Russia definitely can benefit from this, sidetracking the support for Ukraine.

When there is a clear message that God does not discriminate between people, and is not bought, does not take bribes, in particular stressing the rights of widows, orphans and immigrants. Many israelis look at palestinians as immigrants. But Moses reminds that the israelis have been immigrants themselves, so they need to be just and love them. Now, genealogists may argue that the palestinians are not immigrants, but there certainly are enough of widows and fatherless among them now.
