  2. I think there is some difference when it comes to imperialism. Russia is actually the largest country in the world. Israel can hardly be called large. .. There have been jews in the former roman colony of Palestine as well as beduins, drusians, palestinians. The situation is not as clear cut with Israel/Palestine. . I notice that despite being russian you do not glorify suffering. The sanctions are not based on principle as you are pointing out. . I don't think other nations have that sense of guilt towatds russians as there is towatds jews. I have jewish friends who absolutely do NOT cobdone the actions of Israel towards Gaza population
