  6. What struck me when visiting a monastery outside of Odesa. I saw a list over sins to confess. One of them was having been cruel to animals. I mean in Norway were I live, of course there are different opinions and there are also laws to protect animals from cruelty, but nothing I know of in a religions sense. Maybe the animals were killed in order not to suffer alone. I don’t know how russians think about this. But ukraïnians do have a conscientious relation to animals.

  15. I wonder if he was on anabole steroids, if he had not photoshopped his torso. People have different reactions to pain. Yes, it may make you very irritable, but also very apathetic. But I believe the commentators here who stress that doctors need to take a patient’s pain seriously, even though a patient does not seem very affected by it. BTW I know people with serious backpain, who could never murder a person, let alone plan for it.
