  2. I had this problem with mye first dog. The solution I found was making her sit and holding her, when we met other dogs. Cesar explains why that worked.

  3. Better humans..yeah, I Learn a lot about feelings and instinctual behavior by watching, including the fight-flight-freeze.

  4. Good to watch. I guess my golden retriever felt that I was anxious. But I found a way to calm her, made her sit when we encountered other dogs during our walks. Otherwise she would get into fights. I have thought up til now, by watching the body language of the dog that it had to do with establishing a superior position. By watching how the head was held high and the tail, it seemed like some power game.

  6. Wonderful to see. I was watching my sister’s dwarf poodle, and I was terrified when this large pointer was pulling his chain towards him. I picked up the poodle every time we passed another big dog. Finally I was so exhausted that I never took care of it again.
