  1. There is nothing genius about the tweet. There are people in the west, who think that this is a valid solution, but after Mariupol, I do not think Russia can stay on Crimea.

  2. I do think, though, that it may come as a reaction to falling support by a group of western (?) customers? To a western eye, who wants to believe in peaceful solutions, the thought is not strange. A norwegian right wing politician suggested something similar. So the link between stock market loss may be direct, not just a diversion.
