  2. Thinking of Mariupol and the people there. There does not seem to be a option to give in to such violent oppression. It is obvious that the health care needs a lot in order to deal with this. I have an enormous respect for people surviving and helping each other under such circumstances.

  4. Maybe Zaluzhniy can speak to people about military matters. His confident friendly clarity could be some good asset in that respect. A change of roles, yes, but perhaps increased effectiveness. I hope that it is Zelensky’s sense of role-casting that is in play.

  9. I don’t understand why not create some big lie to save face with a withdrawal. They tell things like they want things to be. Saving face and withdrawing would be possible. Russia is.large without any part of Ukraine. Not even Crimea is necessary. Russia can be great anyway. They don’t need Crimea or Donbas in order to be great.

  12.  @rafael_abelyar  I know there are different etnicities in Russia. We must all be aware that we may be brainwashed. There are Russian-Ukrainians too. I would be happy to see peaceful footage from Mariupol today. And mind you. I am not against russians, but the Russian «special operation» on Ukraine is horrifying.

  18. I am seeing a man near the end of a life in conflict. Of course he wants some sense of peace. The complaints of russian war-vloggers have obviously reached Putin. Trump does not like blood. I wonder if Zelensky is better off not trying to apeace him.
