  1. I think in that incident with ukrainian protesters JD Vance did one right thing for the sake of his daughter and one wrong thing for politics. Three year olds get scared of many things. By talking to the protesters, he showed his daughter an adult way of handling the situation. That helps the child learn and grow. POSITIVE Politically, he used the situation to shed bad light on people who were raising a genuine concern. . I share your concerns, and I also have felt ill. Not realizing the militaristic culture of the aggressor is extremely one-sided. I am sorry that many pacifists argue as if the USA or NATO are the only ones to blame for this war. Historians will be discussing what was good and not so good. That is reasonable. But denying the reality will never promote peace. I am sorry for what is going on in Russia at present. I think many want russians to have a good life. That is human and well, at the onset. I really want Ukraine citizens to have a good life too. Ukraine has its own agency. Denying ukrainian agency is oppression, not peace. .
