@mimo.1467 what did THAT mean? Many Jews, especially people I know, put a high value on empathy. Can you explain that emoji?

To your first question: I have fb-friends. They are caring people who also care about curds, afghans, refugees. I have blocked friends who use laughing emojis on description of human suffering. Sadly, I have blocked some pro-israelis based on heartless emojis. I cannot explain why this cause gains so much attention. But having followed the siege of Mariupol, the bombardement of Gaza seems worse. I also have more longstanding relations with jews. Some of them wholeheartedly support the palestinian case. "Not in our name". I have spoken to one yemenite, as far så I know. I do not know any pro-palestian, who does not care about other causes. Talking about peace and future for all those who live between the river to the sea, I get positive responses. Then there are these wild young men..

@mimo.1467 I know. But your point was?

I use the name Palestinians for practical reasons. I mean by that the dwellers between the river Jordan and the Mediterranean sea that are not israelis. . I guess it all has to do with palestinians being better educated as a whole, and perhaps having a more resourceful diaspora. I cannot answer for their animosity, I cannot explain it. I guess there are differences, but to me treating immigrants and refugees well, and to protect their rights is important. What is the difference between UN-refugees and israelis living on UN-designated land. I have no idea if this angle could lead to more peace and understanding, or if it is even useful. It is just a thought. Of course, immigrants and refugees need to adhere to local laws, and respect those who are indigenous to a normal reciprocated degree.
