  9. What a mess! Of course, Hamas could have given up their arms, raised a white flag and brought the hostages back. It seems to me there are very different versions floating about. I have reason to believe you about these rockets stopping the food aid. That Hamas shot them. At the same time there are several witnesses about unfair treatment from israeli soldiers. I don’t know how widespread these things are. What I am certain of is that fairness, justice, and peace go together. I really hope you find a way, and that your soldiers will manage to avoid civilian casualties. When people who are in favor of Israel, find things that go against ethics, and they tell about it, I also have reason to believe that they have seen something. I really do hope you find a way, that give you who live on this land, including those who call themselves palestinians a future and justice.

  12. It was chaotic, and that is what caused casualties from IDF fire. I think he only has reports from palestinians who have experienced low behavior from some israelis. I think it is crucial for Israel, not to go low. War Rhetoric is happening. I am hoping and praying for those who can bring peace between neighbors.

  14. I think he has this from palestinians who have been bullied by some jews. Bullying, and mob-mentality does happen. People who are trying to bring aid to starving civilians in Gaza and Hebron/Westbank have witnessed bad behavior by settlers, who are stopping and trashing the aid. I think this is just as evident as the atrocities of October 7th. Roger Waters also turned against Ukraine, and stood with the position of Putin. The rest of Pink Floyd stood with Ukraine. But Roger Waters is/was a passionate musician. I guess it is best that we keep to that, and don’t fall for the temptation to be influencers in politics. It is a temptation musicians must be aware of.

  16.  @OtherBarak  quite common and normal reaction to the extreme experience. I have experienced that myself. People who have no first-hand experience cannot do much about. Someone with similar knowledge might be able to. Sometimes guilt is what helps you feel some connection. I am no therapist, though. Anyone may listen, though. Maybe respond that they are happy you survived.

  18. When I read the old testament I was a bit shocked about how clearly the wrongs of the chosen by God were described and the consequences following. That is not common description of heroes. Maybe it is divine. We are all human, and human weakness needs light.
