  1. Interesting to listen to a child psychologist and a forensic psychiatrist. I wonder if the latter said something that was clipped away. My impression of Jen, is that she is very much turned in to what she can offer her surroundings.. And Madeline was kind of excluded from that, since she did not seem to accomodate her life to her needs that fateful night. Madeline was described to be very kind, by a former roommate. It is my guess that Jen could also have some of that character trait. And that was what we saw when she was comforting SS. A kind person will not really get into blaming so fast. Most of us are not THAT kind. We get angry and suspicious, and it seems here that is a good thing.

  5. I have been wondering how Jen Soto experienced Madeline appealing to her for help. Children do that to their mothers, normally. Did things change in that respect over the years? Did she recognize signs of abuse? It will take some good interviewer.

  7. In that case she will probably be in an institution, where she gets the care she was using Stephan Sterns for. Her answers about her last talk with Madeline were so unspecific, it could have been made up. Psychiatric patients sometimes commit crimes due to their illness, so we cannot rule out that, even if she has a severe disability.
