  2. In that case she will probably be in an institution, where she gets the care she was using Stephan Sterns for. Her answers about her last talk with Madeline were so unspecific, it could have been made up. Psychiatric patients sometimes commit crimes due to their illness, so we cannot rule out that, even if she has a severe disability.
