I appreciate that he leaves decisions on what is negotiable with Ukraïne and advices not to push them.

Also, the mess remains. Hærverk, is a Norwegian word, literally meaning army-deeds, but used to describe messy destruction.

False flags don't fool the world as they used to do anymore.

Never underestimate an olympic winner and the capacity for achieving goals.

Good news.

Hoping for a full recovery :-)

Identification of the dead is important. The loved ones are those who are most able to do so. The way it is done, is crucial though. Are they prepaired upfront? Are they shown empathy for their loss, or is it just thrown at them, look what happens!

I had no trouble getting it when I first heard the voice of an intensive nurse describing her work experience with COVID. I have had an intubated family-member with pneumonia, and the memory of that experience still shakes me when watching this video. I think it is necessary for people to know, if they haven’t got it yet.

@ЭЮЯ-о3к You may be paid for writing this. I am not.

I think the girl was brainwashed. They had psychologists to "help them deal with the trauma". Healing must come through realization and patience. . When I saw her performance, I kept wondering what her real story would be like.

There are Ruzzians who do say things that coincide with genocidal intent.

@chrisperrins8082 her goals. When she sett out to do something, she knows how to proceed in order to maximize her chances at winning what ever she sett her mind to.

Hopefully.

Victims of abuse may smile a lot. Gabby Petito, a well known example.
4
@ebikeslapunta9294 those words might have the same origin, dating back to the viking age.
4
@MarcosElMalo2 expressive.

@615GuitarSlinger and hundreds flere the country. I guess a lot of people are afraid. In what way is he good? Saying nice things about them? I mean, that need not be wrong, but jailing people for using the word «war» about the total destruction of towns in a neighboring country. He gives order all right, but to what expence.

Anti-air seems necessary.

I am not sure that it helps to bring the truth to the authocratic leader. He recently put the butcher general in charge in response to learning the truth.
3
As a former actor, dealing with real life issues, I think it makes sense to have him to speak on Oscars. But threatening to blow it all up.. Zelenskyis admiration for Hollywood.
3
My deepest respect for their coping during these unbearable experiences.
2
@notcompletelynormal thank you. This was what I asked for. Since the DW canal introduced the Azov-regiment as "far right" I needed to know. As you say, this is Russia's main argument for attacking Ukraïne. Now, when evacuation can be crucial, sympathy may play a part. That is why I asked.
2
Look to countries with high follow up and high vaccination rates. ..
2
A stressfull memory.
2
@ЭЮЯ-о3к you know best about that. It was spiteful more than insightful, and not helpful for understanding what is going on.
2
@TheDrAstrov I would not use that word. A war is going on, and people die on both sides. It is most of all tragic. If the Z-people would respect Ukraines borders and withdraw, some of this can be avoided.
2
Hope it can be done ❤
2
@ricksimon9867 of course. Anger is part of grief. What a horrible waste.

Some russians cannot take in what their countrymen are doing. It is too gross. Others are just lying.
1
That is asking some foreign influence on US elections.
1
His gestures,what do they say?

Principled or coward?
1
Princess Fox I don’t get what you want.
1
Emblem of Vigilance ok thanks.
1
Funny how Russian has picked up the term FAKE.. and made it Russian.
1
NBA I got it from interviews of Russians telling that the images from Ukraine are «fake». The word is easy to recognize, even for those who do not speak or understand Russian, which I do.

Put washing machines on the border s for taking.

Talking to people from Syria and Afghanistan. Says a lot, actually.

Paranoia

Heartbreaking.

There is kind of like a campaign against «propaganda» consisting of laughing emojis. It feels highly inappropriate, almost psychopathic. I do sympathize with activists, but this just seems heartless.
1
I have tried to argue at facebook about this, but this is better argued. It must be deeply insulting to get such an accusation from the very attackers who use nazi-methods. Projection could be one explahnation. Information bubble is the most innocent explanation. Blaming the victim is another. There is definitely an information war going on, and people who live their lives in information bubbles find these descriptions reliable. We who have been to Ukraïne, and know a lot of the complexities through meeting real people, we really find these bubble dwellers to be very stressful. Like they accuse us of only trusting the main stream media.
1
Condoleeza Rice said that a war of this magnitude will sooner or later come home, if it is not stopped.
1
Russia can thank God that their own territory is NOT ATTACKED. They don’t deserve to keep Crimea, after all the bombs they sent from there. God help us all.
1
@Caesar88888 harming civilians.

Forensic science, in the service of humanity.
1
I have been wondering about the term «The far right Azov-batallion in the steel factory». Are there far right combatants there still, or is the far-right involvement in the Azov-batallion only history? I would appreciate nuances. Enlargement is a variation.
1
@nataliatv386 I am just asking. There are different versions from different people. War is hell.
1
If Putin repents, he could become a saint. If he gives everything away and becomes a monk.
1
That is my impression too, that RuZZian thinking is that Ukraïne is «not a country». That was the obvious invasion alert.
1
@divysaran209 it is a strengthening belief when things look dark.
1
@elizabethloren-broz2680 keep that in mind. Especially when it comes to propaganda and setting opinion in their favor against ukrainian independence.
1
@divysaran209 for me? Realizing the strength of the attacker prepairs for a better defense. Don’t worry. What do footballplayers do? They analyze the tactics of their opponent.
1
@divysaran209 my point is that people need to be aware.
1
@divysaran209 My comments were more for a western audience, as there seems to be a lot of misunderstanding about what is going on, at least if you check social media. Ukrainians know, and they stand up.
1
@chrisperrins8082 I was thinking in particular of an american audience, or people who are influenced from american culture. They are gullible, because many are not sufficiently knowledgeable about the language and culture behind the attack on Ukraine. We are all learning of course. Ukrainians see through the bullshit.

Peace and freedom to XEPCOH! XEPCOH - YKPAÏHA
1
@dnkal2875 it is not one-sided, but the Ruzzian way of dealing by attack and new atrocities make things manyfold worse.
1
Jesus called his followers sheep. So why would people who claim to be Christian want to be goats?
1
@rastamon5969 it is best to look at it as a matter of health and not to make a big deal out of things. I myself chose to respect restrictions, and I took it as a pause. I was sceptical against vaccines at first, but chose to go for it after asking reliable health authorities about my case. Remaining friendly towards people of different opinion has also been important. Vaccine was the best option, I found. Where people have felt used or neglected, death numbers have been scary. Finding workable solutions..
1
@rastamon5969 is this some kind of school hearing?
1
I hear you.
1
Likely so.
1
Strong reaction to something that could even be honorable to do for some decades ago, like protecting the honor of his wife/girlfriend. Not that he should have, but why is it such a big deal. Ten years. It’s like murder or something.
1
He has a point there, I think, about cancelling arts that has nothing to do with the current invasion. I also agree about stopping the jumping of time sones summer and fall. No one is all wrong.
1
@ackbooh9032 he looks himself in the mirror. How can he save face?
1
@TheDrAstrov Not so simple. Ukraine's internationally respected borders were agreed upon, but many people in Russia do not seem to respect that, or understand it. Nazi-crimes should be subject to law, and will not be solved by invasion. Btw. Nazis exist in Russia too, so that is no excuse for violating borders.
1
@TheDrAstrov no people should be killed because of ethnicity.
1
We are all hurt by this aggression.
1
The betrayal theme I think is quite important in Russian culture.
1
I have been wondering about language politics. It can been very complex, and it can raise a lot of animosity if it is not dealt with well. Ukraïnian has not been considered a real language by many Russian speakers, as well as Ukraïne as a real country. Not just Little Russia, which was an old name. Then there was also the possibility of visiting family and friends who remain in other parts of the former Soviet Union. I know that these issues have been a source of discontent. Good solutions to these areas, if at all possible. Maybe not currently, though, as long as the existence of Ukraïne is disputed.
1
@lishen9223 That is something to consider in negotiation. I would not harm anyone to respect the need to speak your mother tongue.
1
@lishen9223 from Norway’s history we know how much turmoil and anguish that can arise from language oppreision.
1
How come so many people voted for him?
1
WHat if he really means this.
1
Maybe it would have given him respect not long ago. Maybe he really did not know how bad things are. Speaking the truth in a difficult situation of complicit denial has been a virtue in Russia too.
1
Joking. Maybe not all het that irony.
1
@sofiia28 IDK.. I just guess it is appropriate with losses like that. The soldier has paid the highest penalty, his life.
1
@chrisnichols2611 true. And the price has been paid.
