  3. Really useful. I think I know what you mean about valuing other people for their uniqueness.. I have noticed one thing, that I rarely get exhausted when doing photography, its more like «now its time to stop»-thing. I am doing a course in taking photos of people, and I notice that it invigorates me. The approach is essential. To observe and take photos can be a pretty introverted thing, so I feel kind of more in place. Still, when taking photos of living people, I need to connect, and I found your little video here very useful. Thanks.

  4. People in Paralympics have motoric talent. I thought I could do a major in analytics of congruens in my native language, but I ended up crying in the library instead. .. finally I let go of academics, and turned to what brought me to youtube., creating songs.. I could use what I had learned about poetry during my academic years as well as fellow music students who needed to practice as teachers. Experimenting is necessary, yes.

You gave up nuclear weapons, and you showed human trust, that you would be protected. It does not seem now that it was worth it, but to me this points to the future, while your opponents are going backwards.May you have peace, freedom and a good future.

  15. In Russian there is this same word for 'peace' and 'world'. So it seems russians confuse these concepts. This is extremely foreign to people from other language backgrounds. I think this is necessary to understand.

  21. I think some of it deserves aesthetical acknowledgement. Surface treatment is important, though. . During that sad period I believe some architects found a bit of freedom in their work. The building named after your city, as well as the marriage-and-divorce building have some of the international qualities of the sixties' architecture. I think it is important to notice quality even from that period, that many people judge as tasteless. Sometimes I think the grey architecture of that time goes best with people in colorful garments in the foreground. Changing people's point of view was essential. I think an overview of the best modernist architecture in the world can sharpen the senses for seeing quality in that period. Some people will never like it, though. We had a recent scandal in Norway, when the Y-block was demolished. That was a high quality late modernist building of unique quality. Some people decided they would hate it, and we lost a time reminder thst could have become world heritage. Some argued thst it was just "soviet architecture". My advice: Look deeper into it. There are huge variations in quality and uniqueness.

  33. Although I have been interested in music since my childhood, I did not know a single name of an ukrainian composer. As a former Russian student, it is my impression that ukrainian did not really count, it was just some folklore. Some of it just something you smirked at, like something rural. It is time we get to know the ukrainian composers, and not only the Eurovision winners. They come from a culture, that is for sure.
