  1. Chanting is not illegal unless it's a true threat or it's defamation. The First Amendment exists.

  2. Schools can just follow state laws and refuse the federal funding. It's not hard. Or they can follow federal laws, refuse state funding, and get the majority of their funding from local governments, if the local governments agree with the feds. And the federal government does not have the power to enforce civil rights laws with regards to intrastate activity. Including schools.

  3. This wouldn't work because kids aren't mature enough. They'd probably vote for less work, more breaks, and grade inflation.

  4. These kids just don't appreciate what they have. And they probably have a lot of school-related stress, and perhaps unsupportive parents.
