  1. Same reason I want to remake The Lorax (2012) when I'm older. There's a lot of good stuff in there (mostly the world building), but the plot itself was terrible and boring. So I would set a different story in the same world (Thneedville). Obviously it's unlikely that I'll actually end up remaking it. I'm not sure how much of that applies to Snow White because I've never seen it. But the real question is, why remake a movie if there's no room for improvement? Just reshow the original.
