  3. The Vanguard Information Technology ETF has averaged a 20% annual return for the past decade, and has made roughly 5% since the start of the year. Plus, it's got a really low expense ratio. But I'm not a financial advisor, and past performance doesn't indicate future results. Since I opened my demo account, I've lost 0.83% of the fake money I invested into the position. But it should recover soon.
