  1. Socialists always say it is a revenue problem. But, once they hit 50% effective taxes like in much of europe, deficits magically become a spending problem. The idea of the average working stiff giving 60% of their money to support their neighbors just doesn't sit will with the socialists. That is when you go communist and just pay everything to the government. Nothing new here. Just cut spending. Tell the establishment to take a hike. It has worked fine for 200 years in this country before the socialists started taking over.

  3. Prices law. The square root of the number of employees do half of the work. If those people get laid off the company is doomed. If women are getting laid off at higher rates when companies are downsizing the question I would ask is why were they hired? Where they hired based on gender quotas or how much they contribute to the company? I know the patriarchy says that business owners don't want to hire people that contribute the most and only want to hire men.
