The funniest part is that full time 🤏Indian🤏 athletes from 🤌India 🤌with a population of 1.42+ billion inhabitants and being the world biggest populated country couldn't beat part-time althletes from small island, Hong Kong, with only 7.35 million inhabitants (2 Olympic Gold). China had voluntarily made a bid to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for the right to host the Olympic games in year 2008 when they are poor, and once again in the year of 2022 when they are much wealthier. That is the difference in ethics and culture between these countries. One believes in "the spirit of giving unconditionally" or generosity no matter whether they are rich or poor, the other believes in taking but not sharing/giving. Understand that the time for India hasn't come, it's a low income country that is equipped with a global hunger index ranking that rivals the poorest of the poor, and its GDP per capita is at least 5 to 6 times lesser than China despite having almost the same population as China. Forget about AI tech, where only the 2 massive superpowers USA and China play, and worry about keeping your people fed because 800 million Indians still depend on their government for food aid/rations. The people of Hong Kong speaks 2 mother tongue languages, and they are Cantonese, which is a dialect, and Chinese but there is only one one written language and that is Chinese because there is no written form of writing for Cantonese.
