  1. It was actually from what I understand an English propaganda word for the tactic. Hitler caught wind of it thought it was stupid because the combined arms tactics they used is how you win a war.

  3. It was in widespread use. The British coined it for Germany’s successes in combined arms during the Battle of France in war propaganda.
