  2. Well the costume is pretty bad too. Laura Dern isn't ugly but between the pink hair, the ballgown, and the piece that makes her neck look a giraffes, she looks ugly as hell.

  5. Well I am still wonder where they got those ships and why they didn't send them to destroy Starkiller Base. Also where did those transport from TFA go? They were actually useful.

  6.  CountJimbo  Except no the plan wouldn't have worked. Nobody answered the signal, the ships flying coffins, and if Poe didn't do what he did, the fleet would been destroyed before Holdo was even placed in command.

  13.  @fahimalvi9521  I would say Mace is more what Holdo should have been. He has his reasons for distrusting Anakin and the audience is left to decide if he is right or wrong in his assessment. I personally think he is right he was correct in realizing Anakin couldn't handle being close to Palpatine.

  18.  @Dekartz  She should he was personally recruited by Leia and blew up Starkiller Base. If Leia trusted him enough to send him to find her brother, he is obviously not a spy and Leia would tell her other officers "I sent Poe on a mission to find my missing brother Luke and I trust him enough to complete it."

  29. I think the bigger issue with this argument of "not understanding the movie" is that if the film needs an art degree for you to see how good it is then it fails as on a significant level. A film should always entertainment and telling a coherent narrative first. To use your example of the shining it is considered a good movie because it genuinely haunting psychological horror film and whatever themes there are is secondary. If a film isn't entertaining then whatever themes it has means nothing because you don't go to the movies for the themes in the films, you for entertainment.
