He doesn't sell them. He captures them for a reward. Bounty Hunting isn't the same enslaving someone as most of the time it involves hunting people who are wanted for crimes and returned dead or alive to the authorities who posted the reward.

@orderoftheyawgmoth Well actually it met a nasty end after meeting the planetary defense shield around Byss. Slave II isn't a bad ship he just using as a backup for missions where he needs a low profile or as was the case on Dark Empire, Slave I was unavailable being in the impound at the time. Plus Boba was still wanting everyone to think he was dead at the time.

@mr_e_mc2 Whose scruffy looking?
2
@JainZar1 Tusken Raiders isn't their original name either it came from the time they wiped out a fort
2
I just call it slavery because the latter name is just too PC.
2
Blankyt The live-action Mulan was filmed in the Xiangang Province with the credits even thanking the group in charge of their "re-education camps" for the nation's Islamic population.
2
@atharvawaikar9730 Just to clarify him killing his oppressors and stealing the ship he dubbed Slave 1 are separate incidents.
2
@atharvawaikar9730 I agree it suits him.
2
No it is used in Star Wars.
1
@DrTheRich Well Jango isn't black he is part Moari.
1
@_nebulousthoughts It is classified as a mobile battle station.
1
@narusawa74 It is actually Jango who named as he was a slave once.
1
@harbl99 So a Disney Theme Park employee?
1
Vili T Does Watto qualify because he can fly?
1
@Grillenheimer Well that is mostly an in-lore to reference working names.
1
@kennethbillings614 I prefer Tusken Raiders because it is easier to use for both singular and plural use than Sand People.
1
@john-paulsilke893 He employed Jews and Song of the South is actually a progressive movie for its day. It is a movie about black culture.
1
@virgilblaze9090 It is actually based more on a Samurai helmet. The German-style Stahelm (which originated actually with WWI Imperial Germany) is actually more evident on Julian Glover's General Maxamillian Veers, AT-ST Pilots, and the Death Star Troopers/Imperial Navy Troopers on Endor.
1
@Mael_Str0M Actually the Ghorfas are their ancestors. After the settlers arrived they evolved into Tusken Raiders.
1
@mr_e_mc2 Not really because Han is implied to herd Nerfs but he takes offense only being called scruffy looking.
1
@ch4z_bucks They are going to drop the name.
1
@dparky1627 It was also called the Imperial Planetary Ore Extractor that was the "official" name
1
@simbriant No it only sends parts of them
1
@dparky1627 And the bad guys needed a name like that because the idea is it meant to terrify populations into submission.
1
@starwarsjc1551 No I called him Yoddler and later Grogu. Yoddler because I think it actually made it clear he wasn't a de-aged Yoda but an alien child from the same species.
1
@oknarphianexkraveduccial4325 Slave 1 was originally named that with no legacy vessels as it was a pun Slave Won referencing Jango's escape from slavery. Slave II is a backup ship Boba has just in case in Slave 1 is too high profile or unavailable.
1
@putridfetidini5468 Nah the Death Star was used in the official lore by the Empire. It is easier to say than DS-1 Orbital Battle Station which is mostly just a something they would put on the ledgers.
1
The Back challenged person of the Our Lady of Paris Cathedral.
1
I honestly use AT-AT because it sounds more military phonetic to sound out the individual letters and it fits the other AT-series walkers designations.
1
They are freaking Bio-Weapons.
1
Nah it was because Anakin didn't earn it. Proof is that he complains about not getting to be a master while seated on the Council despite him not being the first Jedi to have that happen to him (Ki-Adi-Mundi had the same thing happen to him)
1
Well the only person that named triggered was George. Most of the Trade Federation characters were jabs at the Reagen Administration.
1
Because Slave 1 wasn't named because of the Clones. Jango named it before he was contracted to make the army and before he even knew about it. He named it that because he was once a slave. The Umbara arc also discussed the implications as Pong Krell the villain of the arc sees them as subhuman creatures bred in a laboratory and treats them like slaves when he commands them.
1
Clones aren't exactly slaves more constripts.
1
@Sylphord Yes.
1
@ilo3456 No they have. Julhani's personal questline in KOTOR includes her encountering the Mandalorian who sold her into slavery back when they were running Taris.
1
I will tell you Farmers aren't offended by Boba.
1
@sgshaday And I thought the SWTOR RP Guild who punished me for self-defense and kicked me for not wanting to do a war crime was bad.
1
"And my Armalite."
1
@stungunnotapplicable1953 That is taken too and Slave 4
1
@Mael_Str0M That is taken as well.
1
@Azraile Well they can't get rid of Slave 1 it is one of the most famous ships in the franchise. It would be like when the fans complained at the Star Trek filmmakers destroying the Enterprise D in Generations when in that case there was a really good out-of-universe reason to destroy it. (The Enterprise-D props were optimized for being by TV studio equipment not higher-quality film equipment which it doesn't as good under.)
1
They even have a joke about it that goes that a man is filling out paperwork and the process goes like this. Where were you born? Saint Petersberg. Where did you graduate? Petrograd. Where do you currently live? Leningrad. Where do you want to live? Saint Petersberg. They are all the same under different names.
1
I just call them what they are: Cannon Fodder.
1
No Disney is dropping the name entirely.
1
@justuraveragegamer6027 We have a Lego employee saying it is a company-wide thing for Disney.
