  2. I would still see the movie for a few reasons. 1. My dad is a Aquaman fanboy. 2. Black Manta is being set up as the main villain and he is a great villain. 3. I have been hoping for years Aquaman would someday get his hook hand from the Peter David run in the DCEU. 4. I have learned to separate the artist from the art. For example Kevin Spacey may have been outed as pedophile, but I will still watch movies he has been in.

  18.  @quintonthevillain2745  I honestly think the hook hand had utility. Plus it kinda defied that perception people about him before the movie came. You could go on all day about how his abilities require him to have strength and durability on par with Superman but it is just easier to bring up the hook hand and how he got that.
