  2. Well there was always the First two Black Ops games. First game was about fighting the Russians. Second the main villain was effectively weaponizing an Occupy Wall Street type movement.

  3. You shouldn't be against politics where it makes sense. Of course a game based on the Cold War will have politics from that period. On the other hand, If you were playing The Witcher and suddenly there was a sequence where someone went on filibuster about captialism being bad that is a problem.

  8. Because it was a teaser. Most games even good ones don't use actual gameplay in their trailers. Bioshock Infinite for example.

  9. Well to be fair the idea is that Big Brother has that name to keep with the idea the government is a benevolent entity. The name is supposed to be based on the idea that the government is like a big brother that is looking after their younger sibling.

  13. No the thing is Call of Duty has had a solid platform. You could level the same complaints about Mario. Plus the games have great campaigns.

  14. Agreed. It says something when the non-canon Zombies mode gives more motivation to the terrorist than the main story. Of course given this was an in-universe historical event reenactment I kinda get why they didn't elaborate.

  17. Well there is Call of Duty Ghosts which has two mission in Caracaus. No rats but there is a cool sequence in the first one where the entire city flooded.
