@M0gM00gle The slave owners were only rich in land. They didn't have much in the way of financial wealth.

Except he landed in 1492 in Hispania not America. Also The first civilizations still had slaves they just called them "indentured servants" which is the same thing.

@maxxor-overworldhero6730 Except the Confederate Constitution was clear what they were fighting for. If we use the logic of what the average soldier thought, then Germany in World War II wasn't fought due to racist ideology as not all Germans in the military bought into the rhetoric.

@Pyramanager Except it didn't. It existed in multiple states in the South including Texas, Alabama and Louisiana. Also Kansas which is was a border state but inland.
