@6ixlxrd Um no Maul was popular well before the Clone Wars because his Lightsaber duel was that Badass. Boba himself was also popular almost as soon as Empire came out or have you not heard about the fan backlash against his apparent death Jedi something George Lucas himself admits was a mistake to do. He even said the only thing that stopped him from including a scene in either 1997 or 2004 special edition where Boba escaped from the Sarlacc was the fact he knew the fans already universally agreed that happened years ago (It was first made canon with the Dark Empire miniseries in 1991). Boba also had the most stories out of a secondary character from OT barring Wedge years before the Series happened. This just proves you are not a true Star Wars fan.

@6ixlxrd Number one Maul wasn't popular simply because of his lightsaber as Double-bladed Lightsaber's appeared before. He was popular because he was a badass. Number two Boba got those comics and other EU stories because he was popular in the first place. Third you never did refute the backlash at Fett's demise in ROTJ which was before most of those stories were published and finally I don't like my own comments.

Yes I am not ashamed to admit I left the theater in tears from seeing my favorite franchise mutilated beyond recognition. And I am not someone who cries that often when watching movies.

@6ixlxrd Just do a google of Exar Kun or Tales of the Jedi. I never said they appeared in the movies prior to the prequels just that they appeared in Star Wars before.

@6ixlxrd I recall you said said maul's lightsaber was popular and not the character himself, and later accused me of pulling the use of double-bladed lightsabers before the prequels out of my ass. That has nothing to do with movie dialogue and everything to do character's popularity which is the actual topic.
