@donovandelozier7156 Yeah it would be a serious legal liability for them. If they changed the tanks based on the leak documents, they will get in trouble for participating in espianoge. If they don't touch it they have plausible deniability.

@sneakman9873 No the real funniest part is Clancy himself was known to correctly deduce current military tech that was classified at the time from information that was not classified and his intuition. It got him in hot water with the US government for a time but they were later happy to show him some of their new toys. Clancy himself once joked that when he was shown a then classified B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber, he was told he wasn't allowed to touch it because the DoD thought he would figure out how it worked just by touching it.

@Mernom I would it is Admiriable one thing that War Thunder has over World of Tanks or World of Warships is that game patches are done to historically balance machines. That and unlike World of Tanks or World of Warships, every vehicle is built in metal to some degree with no paper designs. (the closest we get to paper tanks are the E-100 which had a partially completed chassis and the Flakpanzer 341 (It only got to the mockup stage but it was little more than a Panther with a new turret.)

@user-eo2hk2it5i Paper Tank is a term that the World of Tanks community uses to describe tanks that didn't even make it to the prototype stage only existing as blueprints if they exist at all (There are known examples of War Gaming just making crap such as much of the Japanese Heavy Tank line, fake Tiger P variants, the Conqueror Gun Carriage and the since removed Waffentrager Auf E-100.)

The MiG-29 is more of a counter to the F-15 but it is used in a similar role to the F-16. Both fighters are built as cheaper and lighter and easier to mass produce jets to supplement the larger and more expensive models being devloped concurrently (The F-15 and MiG-27 respectively). Also don't call this autistic it is degrading to actual autistic people.
