  6. Well my problem isn't even it is they strayed too far from the original premise. The game series isn't about the final stages of the Templars plan trying to take over the world in the present with Desmond reliving his ancestors' memories so he can try to stop it. They are completely ignoring the present-day aspect of the games.

I only finished the first one so far played a bit of the second kinda hard to get invested in the game series because after 3 they strayed too far from the original premise by killing off Desmond. The entire premise was the game was like the Godfather Part II two time periods two different characters but they were connected but they ditched the modern play plot.
