I always saw Bioshock as a demonstration of the horseshoe effect. In the end Andrew Ryan became the exact thing that he founded Rapture to avoid, an overreaching government that to use his own words doesn't a farmer to earn the sweat of his brow. The second game continued this idea with Sofia Lamb being an collectivist the exact opposite philosophy of Andrew Ryan's Objectivism but they both resort to the same tactics. Bioshock Infinite does this once with the Vox Populi being no better than Comstock.

@mr.nobody2244 People were kinda tearing it apart back then noting that most of the Elves were what could be called Aryan. Aryans was just another concept that the Nazis tainted like the Swastika.

The game that has the opposite political theme they want is the Bioshock series. It is all based on the horseshoe theory that the extreme sides of the political left and right are basically the same. This most pronounced in the second game where the main villain is a collectivist but using the same tactics as the objecivist Andrew Ryan from the first game.

@McSnezzly Nah Parasite only won because it was only nominee to not star white people. If the best picture each actually won then I would ask how Ghandi better than E.T. or how was Chicago better Lord Of The Rings The Two Towers or The Pianist.
