No Italy was still called the Kingdom of Italy under his rule. The Italian Socialist Republic was a Nazi puppet state Mussolini got to run when he was thrown out of power of the actual nation of Italy.

@PikachuLittle Lincoln was the one who lost half the country as it was the 1860 election that he won that finally caused the south to secede fearing that they would lose their slaves when he got sworn in. It was a self-fulfilling prophecy as Lincoln most likely would have gone for a gradual emancipation scheme as done in other nations which practiced slavery (Haiti for example) instead of doing the landmark Emancipation Proclamation because the war forced his hand. Also William Henry Harrison is the worst dying in only 30 years and often left off lists of worst Presidents because of that.

You know back before voting was anonymous, people were attacked for voting differently regardless of skin color. It was by a group led by a war criminal and wore single color uniforms and masks. They were called the KKK.
