That and they were actually good.

@Jackriff7855 Yeah and that criticism that is was mostly characters talking makes no sense.

The Prequels are good Sean, your claims about them aren't even accurate.
5
Which doesn't make much sense as most comic book movies have original plots to them.
4
@defeqel6537 Nah they were good.
4
Not if you didn't watch all the Prequels.
3
This issue isn't with fanbases generally it is with studios who want to milk IPs dry. A good example is Ghostbusters. There was a thriving fanbase thanks to comics from IDW, The cartoons, and the video game from 2010 but there are some fans, myself included who considered that the series should have ended after the passing of Harold Ramis. Nobody asked for 2016 Ghostbusters.
3
He doesn't. And Honestly his claims about the Prequels are just flat-out false the majority of the movies isn't just people talking.
3
The Prequels are good.

Not really as he acts like Jurassic World didn't add anything new despite the fact it is set at a Dinosaur theme park that actually opened when the first movie was set at the park during a preliminary tour and the sequels were set on another island where the Dinosaurs were cloned before they got shipped to the island the park was on. There was the concept of Dinosaurs being made from whole cloth and being used as bioweapons which wasn't in any prior films, a proper dinosaur on dinosaur fight, the Mosasaurus was the first aquatic extinct reptile in the films and the film launched that species into the mainstream just as the first film did to the Velociraptor species and more. Also Ghostbusters Afterlife I saw and clearly made not as a cash-grab but with love for the original films.

@badbilly7499 Obi-Wan was goading Anakin into being reckless. As Mythbusters noted,, it would have been a 50/50 chance Obi-Wan would win (assuming they have the same skill level of course). The continuity is also indeed perfect
3
Nah they were great too.
2
Sean: "Jurrassic World added nothing new" Jurassic World: Trained Velociraptors, Dinosaurs cut from whole cloth and being used as living weapons, Other extinct reptiles from the age of the Dinosaurs such as the Mosasaurus and Dimophorions and a proper Dinosaur on Dinosaur fight.

Which are ridiculously bad in their critiques. Like the claim "why didn't they sell the Queen's and hire a pilot?" The ship isn't the Jedi's to sell and the Queen wouldn't allow them to sell it.
2
@micfail2 It wasn't soulless though.
2
They did not.
2
@badbilly7499 You couldn't even provide examples for your claims but and you chose to ignore the evidence.
2
Not exactly Communist. The claims mostly comes from the fact the story is supposed to be set in a post-scarcity society.
2
That is even more wrong than Sean's claim.
2
Except most people liked the Neo fights too.
1
@Juggs009 The exposition kinda killed the sequels. It means nothing ever matters as it always ends with a press of the reset button and the war will never end. In other words the series is pointless
1
@deadzoneternity You have clue what you talking about.
1
@stigmaoftherose Nah Jedi is the best movie but the Prequels are still good.
1
@deadzoneternity Where are the Prequels not internally consistent? That is a new one probably because of how absurd it is.
1
@orenmontgomery8250 No they are actual good films.
1
Not objectively bad.
1
@Stresslvls99 Not really.
1
Except it is not. George was going save the Death Star II for third movie but the studio forced him to have it in the original film.
1
I would say the Prequels special effects are better because it was innovative for the time. Jar Jar was the first motion-captured character and effects still hold up incredibly. The Sequels don't have any innovative SFX like the OT or Prequels.
1
Jedi is indeed the best movie of the bunch. No other franchise has made such a good conclusion.
1
Nah the sequels suffered from bad story elements. Like having none of the main characters being present for most of the Battle of Zion in Revolutions, resorting to a literal Deus Ex Machina, and having Trinity survive for several minutes after being impaled with so many rebars, she became a human pincushion.

@badbilly7499 The only scene where Vader and C-3P0 are in the same room is when Han is frozen carbonite so he had other things to worry about than a droid looking familiar. Leia is explicitly described in the script and novelization as looking at her mother's face shortly after being born, and Yoda was Obi-Wan's master as youngling as we see in Episode II and he taught Obi-Wan how to become a force ghost in Episode III so he was a master to Obi-Wan too. Also, Mythbusters is valid to use as the situation they were using was in fact grounded in reality and it was only tangentially related to the main point. Also, the majority is not always right.
1
@badbilly7499 You are being pretty ridiculous. The comics weren't required to explain why Vader didn't recognize C-3P0 as they only had one scene together and didn't even directly interact. The script it valid to admit as it is part of the filmmaking process. Also Yoda being Obi-Wan's master only got a few mentions and it wasn't handwaved. It would make sense Jedi would have more than one master over the years as some Jedi are better at certain parts of being a Jedi. And the Mythbusters were only testing if Obi-Wan's about having an advantage due to being on the high ground would be valid in that situation. And you need to look up what an Ex Machina actually is. It means that the element has to be out of nowhere before it shows up in the story. Maul's failure was his overconfidence and we saw him display it earlier when he boasted about how at least the Sith would have revenge. Along with arrogance being an established Sith trait.
1
@badbilly7499 You are actually missing the point as none of the material is needed. Vader and C-3P0 never directly interacted in the OT and neither did most of the OT characters who appeared in the Prequels. Aside from the established connections from OT, only R2 and Obi-Wan and Owen and C-3P0 interacted in both trilogies and the former never did anything to imply they never met before. Obi-Wan referred to R2 as his friend when they first see each other in A New Hope and only said he never recalled owning a droid when Luke claimed R2 was his droid. Obi-Wan was telling the truth as he didn't own R2 or any other droid. Owen and C-3P0 are also covered as we know in the Prequel C-3P0 had a memory wipe and he didn't have his gold plating when they appeared together in Episode II. Maul's also makes sense Obi-Wan's final strike along with the jump happened incredibly fast. As for the High Ground line. You forget that Anakin tried the same trick Obi-Wan did with Maul but failed because Obi-Wan know to defend himself on the high ground. The exchange is also a clear attempt to goad Anakin into trying to jump like he ends up doing.

There are more than three movies. There are two Ewok made for TV movies, the Clone Wars theatrical movie and the Prequels which I place well above any of Disney's films.
