  5. The example you brought up isn't striking someone inadvertently. They were aiming for the kid, but didn't intend to paralyze them. Doesn't undo the damage they knowingly did.

  6. Yep and she was in the car so it almost borders on felony murder at least they are using the logic of a felony murder to charge her.

  7. Well realistically this technically the felony murder, but without the felony. That said she probably needs to go to jail as she was in the car, but tried to wash her hands of her son doing something dangerous despite knowing it was dangerous.
