  1. I actually have to say that the idea the Principal wouldn't take the report seriously is true from my experience. The thing that got my parents to pull me out of public school was the fact that the reports I made about being picked were ignored.

  2. The Great Gatsby was about how money isn't the key to happiness and the difference between loving a person for who they are and the ideal you have of them. Gatsby wasn't in love with Daisy but the ideal woman he pictured Daisy to be.

  4. Well it wasn't specifically a jab at that. For Gatsby he was loving an idea not a person. He loved what he thought Daisy was not Daisy herself.
